Dear Dr. R. E. Margo Students and Families,

I am honored to lead a school with such persevering students, encouraging families, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.  I feel blessed and fortunate to be a part of the Margo family. 

My vision for Dr. R. E. Margo is to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them.  Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make a positive difference.  Your child deserves our very best, therefore we are committed to GROWING MINDS, EVERY SCHOLAR, EVERY DAY.
 

On a personal note, I take great pride in being a product of Weslaco I.S.D. along with my son and daughter. Not only are my kids products of Weslaco ISD but Dr. R. E. Margo as well!  Their time at Margo was truly impactful and set them on the right path for success. 

A strong partnership between home and school will foster greater success for our children.  

We look forward to our parents guiding and supporting their child’s learning by:

• Ensuring your child attends school daily and arrives on time (7:45 am), ready for the day’s learning experience

• Reads daily for 30 minutes to develop a love for reading and improve literacy skills
